Great saving on a fantastic game!
Have you heard of Guitar Hero? If not check it out - it’s one of the most fun games available on the Wii. It’s quite expensive at £70, but you do get a wireless guitar/controller for your money.

The argos site says it has remotes and wii play in stock, but when I put in my postcode, it says they are out of stock for delivery to my area. What’s that about?
November 27th, 2007 at 5:12 pm
Petunia, I just checked and you are right. I have no idea what that’s about! Looks like a site error on Argos’s part.
Damnit, I was going to order one myself too!
Even looking at store pickup, the 10 stores near me are out of stock too. Boo.

Anyone who has received their wii from scoregame could you tell me who it was delivered by, post office or courier? Mine was only sent out yesterday, just wondering how long it might take to get here.

A quick question…is the wii easy to set up?
I’m planning to unpack it on Xmas Day morning and suddenly thought this might not be a good day to be spending hours trying to make it work!
I have an HD tv. I also have a wireless internet set up - is this a problem for the wifi wii?
Cheers, in advance

anyone got theres from germany as just wondering and had no contact from seller and over a week now and he does not response and don`t want to lose money i have paid

Andrew, we had ours up and running in about 30 minutes. However, we haven’t set up any WiFi at all - but maybe you can leave that until the day after and just get people playing games on xmas day. No idea if HD will affect it or not … but it’s easy to set the TV settings etc. Wii Sports alone will keep you entertained for hours!
Phil, do you mean the eBay Germany seller? Or a store?

it the guy on ebay that had 62 and then stuck another 200 on and kept a eye on his feedback as if anyone in uk has got one but no one in uk has yet and most of them went to uk

Hi Leighton
Recieved my Wii from Scoregame france yesterday. It came with Parcelforce. I ordered on 13/11, my status changed on their website on 22/11 but the money didn’t leave my a/c till 25/11. When I tracked the parcel through Colipost (emailed scoregame for a tracking number) it showed that parcel sent on 26/11 so didn’t actually take long to get here. I wouldn’t go by the date on scoregames website as that seems to be when they start preparing to dispatch.

Phil I’d recommend trying to contact them if you haven’t already. I initially made contact to ensure they delivered to the UK and I got a reply within a day.

Did anyone grab the Dixons deal? What kind of offers did they have?
November 28th, 2007 at 12:12 pm
Gamestation have some bundles right now but I think their site has crashed.
November 28th, 2007 at 12:36 pm
Peter T, that sounds about right! Seems that most sites can’t handle the traffic when stock comes in. I wonder how the Dixons site stood up this morning.

Phil,
I ordered mine from German ebayer late evening on 19/11 and got a dispatch email on 21/11. I had already followed up with an email on 20/11 and this was responded to on 23/11. According to feedback looks like items bought around 20/11 are now being delivered. I will post update on mine when I have more info. Recommend emailing the seller though. There’s already one bit of feedback regarding the lot with UK adapters. Am sure it will be fine - they must be having to ship a lot of stuff everyday at the moment.

Can anyone help me?
I want to be able to track my package from Scoregame, what do I need to do and how can I go about doing it?
Having trouble with finding the right area to use for tracking as I have to keep cuting and pasting everything into translator, any chance of some instructions?
Thanks

Once again, it’s the British public who get shafted… there’s an abundance of stock over in Europe- but Amazon won’t allow us to order from the .de and .fr websites.
Then we get bundles, which are sold for extortionate prices- bit by bit- a few crumbs at a time. Amazon UK remain silent, no explanation… this is like some kind of social experiment- like in The Prisoner!!
We must keep pressing F5, and then hopefully we’ll eventually be allowed to purchase a Wii console. This is Operant conditioning, and we’re laboratory rats, trying fervently to navigate the maze of deception…
Don’t you just love those unscrupulous sharks on the Amazon Marketplace, eh? Absolute scum.
Anyway, “good luck” to the honest people out there whom are trying so desperately to secure a console. This is like the EU butter mountains!!!!

Anyway, thanks for making a valiant effort to help us wii-less proletarians! Keep up the good work…

HELLO? HOW CAN I EXTEND MY RANGE
November 28th, 2007 at 5:38 pm
Sam to be honest, I’d reccomend joining a Wii forum with people who live and breath Wii! I for one haven’t even got WiFi let alone know enough about it to advise.
I’ve thought about joining this one myself: www.wiitalk.co.uk
But if you look on Google for “Wii Forum” there are dozens to choose from.
I’m not saying that someone here won’t be able to help, but if you think about it - people are posting here primarily because they are looking for a Wii. Once they have one, their need for this site reduces.
